Construction and Demolition (C&D) Service
According to California's 2004 Statewide
Waste Characterization Study, construction and demolition
(C&D) materials account for almost 22 percent of the
waste stream. Much of the materials, such as drywall, metal,
concrete and lumber, can be recycled.
Waste Management of San Diego can tailor
recycling programs to meet the needs of local developers
and do-it-yourself projects. Roll-off bins can be utilized
for trash or recycling services, such as for construction
and demolition (C&D) projects, construction debris or other
dumpster service. Please contact us at 1-800-DUMPSTER or
(619) 596-5100, to discuss these service options, to sign
up for service or for questions about end dump or storage
containers. For more information please visit www.dumpster.com. In addition, guidelines for engaging in "green
building" projects are available through the California
Integrated Waste Management Board Web site.
For pricing and ordering information related to C&D waste and recycling services, please contact customer service at 1-800-DUMPSTER or (619) 596-5100.
